Donor Females

Coleman Donna 208 was purchased in October 2018 for $12,000.  The amount seems outlandish, but as we studied her lineage--and her--in great detail, we felt like she had many great characteristics that would make her one of the foundational building blocks for our herd. Her Docility was one the first things we noticed when we saw her on sale day. There was no high head or nervous movements as she walked the sale ring. She also weaned an impressive SAV Sensation calf that weighed in at 850lbs at 205 days. This amazing female has a proven track record with Coleman Angus in Charlo Montana where she was used a Donor Cow in their program. We can't say enough about how excited we are to have her be apart of our program.

Riverbend Blackcap Z1079 is a female we purchased back in 2016 with a bull calf as side. This own daughter of Hoover Dam fleshes very easily and maintains good flesh while raised a great calf. She has also shown to be a very fertile donor as she has averaged 10+ usable embryos in over 7 flushes. This female has become the building block for our calving ease lines coupled with above average carcass qualities. This female had a son sell in the Riverbend auction the year before we purchased her for $7500. We have kept one of her sons so far to use in our herd and couldn't be more impressed with his disposition and phenotype. All 5 calves born out this female have weighed in at 74lbs or less.
